COURT DISMISSED PDP MOTION, AFFIRIMED EARLIER JUDGEMENT NULLIFYING ENTIRE PDP LGA CONGRESSES ACROSS PLATEAU STATE
Plateau State High Court presided by His Lordship Justice Arum Ashom has dismissed the motion filed by Bar Binchen Jantur and others seeking the reversal of a judgment with suit NO: PLD/J276cv/2020 delivered and dated 24th of June 2021 by same court presided by Justice Arum Ashom nullifying entire PDP LGA congresses conducted 21st of March 2020 in Jos East LGA and across Plateau State.

The judge expressly dismissed the 
motion for lack of merit.

You will recalled that the National headquarters of PDP compiled with the judgment by barricading the twelve (12) LGAs affected by the Justice Arum Ashom judgment from voting during the last ill-fated state Congresses as well as the National convention which took place at the eagle square Abuja to avoid contaminating the electoral process and the legitimacy of the National officers of the PDP.

The motion filed by Bar. Binchen Jantur has kept the LGA Executives in the state of uncertainty and limbo prior to its dismissal today.

Today’s judgment has created a huge vacuum required to be fill through a constitutional process and has open another chapter and great opportunity for PDP in Plateau State to rearrange itself for the task ahead considering that the approach the appeal court seeking to upturned the judgment has elapsed since last year.

There’s no amount of interpretations that can review or upturned this landmark judgment, than compliance and setting the ball rolling for unity.

The Nigerian Army has announced that application for recruitment into the organisation has commenced till 14th April 2023. The Nigerian Army tweeted on Tuesday, March 14th that the application has been open since Monday, 13th March and it is free.
