PLATEAU STANDS STILL FOR TINUBU, APC AS MASSIVE CROWD STORMS PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN RALLY IN JOS

Presidential campaign of the All Progressives Congress APC Bola Ahmed Tinubu officially kicked off today, 15th November, 2022  at the Rwang Pam Stadium in Jos the Plateau state capital.

Our correspondent reports that thousands of APC supporters and leaders from all walks of life   demonstrated their love and preference when they trooped the   stadium as early as 9:00am  to welcome President Muhammadu Buhari, Sen. Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate and his entourage to Jos.

The occasion was also attended by  all  the 22 governors elected under  the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as well as Senators, House of representatives members, former Governors and other important Personalities. 

In his remarks, Buhari said they are here to support the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress Bola Tinubu.

He urged  Nigerians to continue to support the APC at all levels.

Buhari also presented the  party flag  to the All Progressive Congress Candidate.

The All Progressive Congress Presidential Candidate  Bola Tinubu  who spoke at the occasion promised  good governance and Economic Development if  elected President at the 2023 General Elections.  

Tinubu said he was grateful to God and the party for emerging the  Presidential Candidate of the party ,saying that his wealth of experience in governance would be brought to bear.

He said the achievements of the Present administration would earn them a landslide victory come 2023 as he would consolidate on the already existing developmental strides of the Buhari Administration.  

While highlighting his agenda for the Nation if elected, Tinubu promised to focus on Education, Security,  Agriculture and Human Capital development. 

"We will ensure that no Nigerian goes to bed hungry and every child is educated".

In the area of Security which is a major challenge we will ensure the safety of lives and properties, We  will establish commodity exchange.

"We shall continue all the works in the on going exploration in all fronts".

"We will encourage urban office and our farms  would produce food for export" he said. 

Tinubu thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for the exceptional service he has rendered to the Nation adding that history would be fair to him.

Governor Simon Lalong  who spoke earlier the Director General of the APC Presidential campaign Council  who spoke said the occasion is significant.

He said that the state would sustain its track record of hosting National party Conventions and Presidential campaigns that produced Nigerian Presidents.

APC would do well in the forthcoming general elections saying that the state has 22  Governors who are working hard to deliver the party at the polls.

Lalong further  said that President Muhammadu Buhari would produce his successor in person of Bola Ahmed Tinubu

"We are going to win our elections, we would have more that two third in the National assembly and state house of assembly".

APC National Chairman Adullahi Adamu, said Buhari's administration has surpassed that of his predecessors stressing that several roads, railways have been constructed under his administration, "we are proud of his achievements" he added.

The APC Governorship candidate Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda who also spoke in his goodwill message lauded the party for choosing Plateau for kick-off of the Presidential flag off.

There were also good will messages from Governor Yahaya Bello, Gov Ben Ayade of Cross River Governor, Hope Uzodimma, Governor Mohammed Badaru Abubakar and Govenor  Abubakar Atiku Bagudu.

He said that the Bola Tinubu would continue to provide dividends of democracy to citizens of the country if elected.

The progressive Governors lauded Bola Ahmed Tinubu and pledged to work for his victory come 2022.
