PRESS STATEMENT FROM THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS (NAUS) CAMPUS MONITORING COMMITTEE (CMC) PLATEAU STATE CHAPTER EXCOS

The leadership of the National Association of University Students (NAUS) Campus Monitoring Committee (CMC) Plateau State Chapter have noticed with unquantifiable displeasure the immoral activities of three of the officials of the Plateau State Chapter of the organization.

After series of engagements and request from the entire EXCOs for the accused persons to come forth and exonerate themselves it was to no avail.

The EXCOs, having sat twice to deliberate on the issue but could not get the presence of the three members we have unanimously resolved to suspend of:

COMR. MICHAEL JOSEPH PAM
Chairman

COMR. JOHN DAKUP
Vice Chairman

COMR. SENDI JACOB
Director of Campus Affairs

Henceforth, the aforementioned persons cease to be EXCOs of the CMC of the National Association Of University Students (NAUS)Plateau State Chapter.
Their allegations centered on gross financial misconduct, bridge of trust, impersonation, inappropriate behavior. We are calling on all security outfits.

We however resolved to make COMR. ANDY YAKUBU of the University of Jos to be the ACTING CHAIRMAN Campus Monitoring Committee (CMC) pending subsequent actions.

NIGERIAN ARMY BEGINS 2023 RECRUITMENT

The Nigerian Army has announced that application for recruitment into the organisation has commenced till 14th April 2023. The Nigerian Army tweeted on Tuesday, March 14th that the application has been open since Monday, 13th March and it is free. The Army said the recruitment is for 85 Regular Recruits Intake for Non-Tradesmen & women has commenced. “Application starts 13th March & ends 14th April 2023.
